Home visit

In general, animals come to the practice for treatment. If a vet visits your home, it is not possible to carry all the equipment required or have appropriate nursing assistance, which of course is ready to hand within the practice.

However, we do appreciate that there are certain circumstances where it is necessary to make a home visit. The end of your pet’s life can be a sensitive and difficult time. Our caring receptionists will help you book an appointment where the vet can visit at a prearranged time.

Our disabled clients can be rest assured. Visits, are of course available, if it is difficult for you to visit the surgery.

Blood Donation

Dogs need blood too!

There are several conditions that require blood transfusions such as types of cancer, road traffic accidents and some medical conditions . To meet this need we are hoping to establish a list of dog blood donors who can be called upon as and when the need arises.

There are quite restrictive criteria to be met before a dog can become a blood donor, and explanatory leaflets are available from the practice.
